The Children's Counseling Services program provides grants to needy families whose children require one or all of the following services: psychoeducational testing, brief psychotherapy, or mentoring. Referrals for these services are made by the educational administration of the child’s school. The program accepts applicants from all private schools in South Florida. Due to limited funding, most of the current beneficiaries reside in Dade County. The Children's Counseling Services program was established in 2021 in memory of Mr. Henry Schmidt, father of Sandra Jacob.
